Hi all and welcome to the forum,
This is the place where we can discuss any info or ideas relating the community garden :).
As you can see there are different boards where you may post a thread for discussion. There is a 'general' board, a 'meeting/coming events' board, and an 'ideas' board.
Any info that is sent out by email, re: the garden, will also be posted onto the forum. The forums may be an easy way for people to keep up to date with what is happening and also, a good place to throw around a few ideas and see what evolves.
Look forward to chatting with all of you Mel

Hi
It is great to hear that you are establishing a community garden in the Stanthorpe area.
We have recently established a Landcare Community Garden in Tenterfield at the Tenterfield Tafe.
We had an easy option for a site as it was offered to us. Previously used as a vegetable garden at the Tafe it was no being used and we got our heads together and decided we should utilise it for a community garden.
It is great to see that you have a website. We have not got that far yet, we are still at the structure and design stage.
At our last meeting the idea of a sister community garden came up - preferably one with the same climatic range.
It is early days yet but we may at some stage be able to compare notes and ideas about how to establish a successful community garden.
This is just a hello to you guys and wishing you all the best with the garden.
Cheers
Margi

Hi Melissa, I am new to Stanthorpe and the community garden and would like to establish contact with you.
I have updated the community garden web page on GraniteNet. Could you have a look and give me your feedback?
It would be good to re-activate the forum too.
For instance, I wouldn't mind having some expert assistance or recommendations on building a bean frame with bamboo.
I Look forward to hearing from you.
Valerie
